TRADE NOTICE NO. 24/2003-CE

SUB: SETTING UP OF TAX CLININCS FOR SMALL SCALE SECTOR MANUFACTURERS – REGARDING.

        Trade and industry is hereby informed that in keeping with the document on 'Vision and Strategy' issued by the Board, this Commissionerate proposes to  set up Tax clinics w.e.f. 1.9.2003, in all the four Central Excise Divisions falling under its local jurisdiction, under the charge of respective Dy. / Asst. Commissioner to educate small scale manufacturers about their legal responsibilities in the conduct of   tax matters.

2.               All the Trade Associations are requested to give wide publicity to the contents of this Trade Notice amongst their members
