Sub:- Reconstitution of Regional Advisory Committee for Small Scale Sector for the Block Years 2004-2005 – reg.
The trade and all other concerned are hereby informed that Regional Advisory Committee for Small-Scale Sector for the block years 2004-2005 for the Central Excise Commissionerate, Delhi-I has been constituted. A list of the members of the Committee alongwith trade interest they represent, is enclosed.
1. The Commissioner of Central Excise, Delhi-I will be the Ex-officio Chairman of the Committee. The Asst. Commissioner (Tech) of the Central Excise Commissionerate. Delhi-I will function as the Secretary of the Committee.
2. The life period of the Committee is for two years from 1.1.2004 to 31.12.2005.
3. Only nominated member can attend the meetings. Any member who absents himself for three consecutive meetings without adequate reasons will be deemed to have been withdrawn from the Committee and his place will be filled by fresh nomination. In case it is not possible for the nominated member to personally attend the meeting due to unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances, another representative of the Organization may attend the meeting with the prior permission of the Chairman.
4. Members will be informed well in advance of the date, time and venue of each meeting. They are requested to forward the points sponsored by them for discussion well within the stipulated date so that those points can be included in the agenda and circulated to other members to enable them to participate in purposeful manner during discussion in the meeting.
5. The functions of the committee are purely advisory in nature relating to resolving the procedural or other difficulties and problems of a general nature so as to enable the administration to take steps and solve them.
6. The Committee will ordinarily meet twice a year at such places, as the Chairman may decide.
7. Non official members of the Committee shall be entitled to T.A./D.A. admissible under the orders of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance in force.
