TRADE NOTICE NO. 19 /2005
Sub: Re-export of goods imported under DFRC Scheme found unfit for consumption – reg.
Trade and all concerned are hereby informed that the Central Board of Excise and Customs has vide its circular No. 29/2005-Cus dated 08.07.05 issued vide F.No. 605/50/2005-DBK clarified that in cases where the goods imported under DFRC are found defective or unfit for use, the same may be permitted to be re-exported by the Commissioner of Customs subject to certain conditions. For detailed instructions and guidelines, a copy of the above said circular is enclosed.
All trade associations are requested to give vide publicity to the contents of the above mentioned trade notice amongst their members/constituents
