Sub.: Setting up of Tax Clinics for Small Scale Sector Manufacturers – reg.
Trade and industry are hereby informed that Tax Clinics for Small Scale Sector Manufacturers has been set-up in all four divisions of Central Excise Commissionerate, Delhi-II and they are functional w.e.f. 1.9.2003. These Tax Clinics are meant to educate small scale manufacturers about their legal responsibilities, to guide them in the conduct of their tax matters and breaking the communication wall, if any, between the small manufacturers and the tax administrators. The Tax Clinics shall closely co-ordinate with the Small Scale Manufacturers’ Associations. The said clinics, headed by the Deputy Commissioner of each division comprise of following officers:
